For a typical land development project, our involvement would be:
- Assessment of site servicing constraints and preliminary contacts with relevant authorities, along with preparation of budgetary estimates.
- Co-ordination with clients, planners and consultant teams to finalise subdivision design and to ensure engineering aspects are covered.
- Provide and co-ordinate engineering input to ensure servicing requirements are clarified and provision for these requirements is allowed.
- Liaise and negotiate with servicing authorities to resolve major infrastructure extensions and pre-funding arrangements if required.
- Co-ordination with surveyors for detailed pick up of the site.
- Detailed engineering design of site earthworks, roadworks, stormwater and subsoil drainage, sewerage and water supply and any other associated civil engineering works as may be required.
- Preparation of Water Management Reports (LWMS) and Urban Water Management Plans (UWMP).
- Appointment and liason with electrical designers for the design of underground power and telecommunications.
- Liaison, discussion and co-ordination with local service authorities to resolve requirements and ensure that planning conditions for the development are clarified and satisfied.
- Preparation of tender documents, and contract administration for the project through to practical completion.
